Mumford & Sons and Laura Marling shortlisted for 2010 Mercury Prize
Wow. It was with great pleasure and pride that Everybody’s’ ears received the news yesterday that both Mumford & Sons and Laura Marling have been nominated for the 2010 Barclaycard Mercury Prize.
Mumford & Sons for their debut album ‘Sigh No More’ and Laura for her second album (and her second Mercury nomination) ‘I Speak Because I Can’.
The winner will be chosen at the official ceremony, due to take place on 7th September (it will be broadcast live on BBC6 Music).
