Keane Nominated For Best British Album Of 30 Years

Keane have been nominated for Brits Album of 30 Years, for their debut album Hopes and Fears, which was released on 10th May 2004.

In 2004 Island Records released the best-selling British album of the year, Hopes and Fears, garnering two Brit Awards, Q Award for Best Album of the Year and winning Tim Rice-Oxley an Ivor Novello for “Composer of the Year”. The album was also voted one of the “Best British Albums” in a Q Magazine/HMV poll in 2008, the first of two Keane albums to feature in the Top 20 alongside The Beatles, Oasis and Radiohead.

Hopes and Fears Deluxe Edition is out now, which includes the band’s first ever demos and previously unreleased material.

Keane will be releasing their first EP Night Train available on 10th May 2010.
