Laura Marling embarks on UK Solo Tour
Almost exactly a year to the day since the end of her last UK tour, and following a number of support shows with Daniel Johnston, Laura Marling last week embarked upon a brand new 8-date UK solo tour.
The tour takes in some typically unique venues, including Birmingham’s Ikon Gallery, Glasgow’s Studio at The Arches and Mull’s An Tobar, winding up at St Pancras Church in London on 23rd November.
Laura has been debuting songs from her second album, the follow up to 2008’s Mercury Music Prize nominated ‘Alas, I Cannot Swim,’ which is now complete and scheduled for release in early 2010.
