Lunar Youth release 'Misfits' on Young & Lost
Latest Everybody’s signing Lunar Youth are set to release their first single on the Young & Lost label later this month.
‘Misfits’ will be released on 23rd November on 7” vinyl and will be limited to 500 copies. Misfits is an irreverent portrayal of urban dropouts who live for nightlife set to the sound of echoing synths cascading around Simon’s conversational, laid-back croon. Silver guitar riffs shimmer above Adam’s warm, organic drums and Peter’s melodic bass. More information can be found here.
The band will be celebrating the release with a launch party at The Queen Of Hoxton on 25th November, where they will be joined by Alan Pownall and Sunderbads.
Influenced by the glamorous aesthetic of Roxy Music and imagist poetry of Arthur Symons, Lunar Youth paint pictures of futuristic dystopias, open landscapes, and youth cults. Stay tuned for more details of a forthcoming Lunar Youth tour.
