Mumford & Sons, Laura Marling + Rajasthani folk collective Dharohar Project
Back in December Ben, Marcus, Ted, Winston and Laura packed up their bags and departed the bitter cold for the much more favourable climates of India. The weather was a welcome bonus but not, however, the main motivation for their journey, which was in fact to take part in the British Music Council sponsored Soundpad project.
As well as playing shows in several Indian cities, both spent a week recording with traditional Rajasthani folk collective Dharohar Project. And now the time has come for the boys and LM to play the hosts, with two very special collaborative shows in the UK plotted for next month.

Both shows will feature collaborative performances, as well as stand alone sets from each and some live recordings should emerge online soon after. Stay tuned also for some more video footage from their travels in India.
